Idk about a2 but as long as you have b1-b2 German you already have a lot of opportunities i see many b2-b1 level people working in my school as janitors lunch ladies etc... you can also work at a supermarket if your German is b2

Yeah you would probably get accepted in jobs that dont require as much language or even 0 language use but with b2 German you are basically set because many jobs can accept you but i would still try to get c1 because its kinda brutal out there for people that dont speak German like people just like you more when you speak good German im an immigrant in Germany too so you can trust me if you want

For someone like me its probably better to work in a warehouse but im not a big fan of warehouses i have plenty of experience working in retails and some in call center.

Yeah just try to not humiliate yourself when people talk to you and make good friends avoid racist neighbours especially if you dont look as white especially older people im ethnic and not white so i always avoid interacting with old people that i think are assholes and just live your life mind your own business etc...

super easy to get a job if youre willing to work physically demanding jobs, like package delivery or construction, theyre always understaffed. most people there are immigrants and not fluent in german either. it could be harder to get a residency permit though, the bureaucracy here is crazy and sometimes punishes workers more than freeloaders
