Curry call centre scammers from India, they pretended to be fbi/UN and threatened her to arrest her, it was psychological. So she sold her jewellery + borrowed cash from relatives + emptied her bank account. I was 17 at that time, and the most DEVASTATING fucking thing was she made me believe in this scam and sent me to sell the jewelry and borrow cash from friends. I was suspicious first and could have stopped her, but she manipulated me. Why are women like this.

Here's a devastating bomb: dad was himself devastated but she hasn't told him that jewelry was sold and I don't doubt that time is coming when he finally gets to know this fact. We are living in rent, can't buy a car.
