The fabrics are both the same: egyptian cotton

The weave is different:

Poplin is this

Jersey is this

Poplin is denser and smoother (better for winter) while jersey is less dense and rougher (better for summer)

Depends on the article of clothing you're buying

Poplin is better for dress shirts while jersey is better for polo shirts

Wouldn't recommend black though because it's not very versatile

I want this dress shirt to get it for parties. Not for job interviews. I will go for the polin one. Thanks for the help!

I would still say get it in a color such as blue because black makes you look tryhard af

I already have blue and white and other colors of dress shirts. I received them tho, they don't fit the best, but I will go to a tailor one day. I don't have black tho, that's why I want to get it.
