So I slept for like 6 hours rather than the usual 10 today, and like 30 min right after I woke up I went to Judo practice, and considering how Judo involves lots of contact and grappling, it sort of takes a toll on the spine. I say this because I went to Walmart after with my brother, who is like an inch shorter than I am normally, but there he was like practically my height (5'7-5'8), and I assume its cause my spine was fully compressed, whereas he woke up like an hour before we went to Walmart so his spine is barely compressed. I'm just wondering if I'm right and the spine compression can be accelerated by certain activities for the hell of it, not like I'm gonna quit judo just cause it takes almost an inch off of me early.

Its over

Dehydration could be a reason. But undersleeping won't help either

lol what r u talking about
"Water plays a pivotal role in the health of your spine. For starters, the discs in your vertebrae need to be properly hydrated in order to best support the weight of your spinal column and body. When your body is dehydrated and these intervertebral discs shrink, vertebrae can actually touch one another and degenerate faster while also leaving you at a higher risk for disc rupture."
