Can the lenght of the lower third be changed?

My lower third being narrow isnt the problem. I had a goatte and recently shaved it so i only now realized that my lower third is lowkey too short. Is there any way to make it longer? A few cms is all i need. Having a goatte is a good way to fraud u can grow it out and nobody will notice it even you but i wanna know if i can do something or not.
