Yes, start .25% or .5% and work your way up to tretinoin. Should help reduce signs of aging in the future and increase skin turnover to even out your complexion. Make sure to wear SPF with it as if you dont don't its over before it even begins, retinol aint saving your skin if you dont use spf

So .25 and .5 are concentrations, the ones from cerave are .25% i think so they are good starting points, you might purge a bit if your young but it doesnt happen to everyone, didnt happen to me.

SPF is just sunscreen, use a factor 50 if youre using retinol, i recommend the La roche posay one. If you have hyperpigmentation get a tinted sunscreen as the zinc oxide will reduce its appearance.

Dont use retinol in the morning, at night only, use spf in the morning to ensure you dont burn as the retinol increases cell turnover. If it is irritating your skin, put a thin layer of moisturiser on your face, then put the retinol followed by another layer of moisturiser (the sandwich method).

Be careful around the eye area and only use a pea sized amount (1 pump if you use the cerave version)

I think thats all you need to know

Yes. I use tretinoin and am planning to start hydrocortisone to shrink the nose.

that’s great bro thanks for taking the time to tell me. so i’m gonna get a .25% and i’ll try the sandwhich method to ensure it works. also ill get a tinted sunscreen and you said don’t put it on after right just in the morning when u wake up or do i apply it after the retinol and then also in the morning

No problem bro, yeah maybe sandwich it for the first week or 2, then you can go straight. If your skin feels like normal after 2 days you can maybe just apply it straight, thats what I did because I have very unsensitive skin. Put the Sunscreen on in the morning and wash it off in the evening, so you dont clog your pores and also stain your pillowcases jfl. Retinol in the evening only.

AM: Sunscreen
PM: Retinol
