Can we talk about the effects of mouth breathing ? Is it really that brutal and is correct mouth posture more vital than genetics

yeah mouth breathing during youth is brutal, gives you sleep apnea, recessed chin and jaws, makes you breath worse, downturns your maxilla, its literally a death sentence if your poor and cant afford jaw surgery
(my dad mouthbreathed when he was younger and he had all this side effects before jaw surgery)
jaw surgery is saviour for those that mouth breath
 
Mouth breathing is a consequence and not a causal factor.

I guess even if most medical professionalsdon't understand this then we should not expect average .org user to understand.
 
But even if you have small airways and learned the habit of mouth breathing, you should still retrain to breathe using nose for the general health (mostly better air quality and less teeth and soft tissue wear in the mouth).
