can you do pushups on consecutive days to increase progress or does the 48h recovery phase apply here as well

Since pushups are a bodyweight exercise that you do in high volume, they shouldn't require the same amount of time to recover as lifting heavy weights.

Is training them every day more optimal than every other day? I've been doing them every 2 days for yrs and I've plateaued.

fuck the 48 recovery shit, i train daily and every body part at least 3 times a week
