the reason you shouldn’t expect a sharp jawline is because your facial bones are all not growing at the same speed it’s all over the place that’s a biological fact, basically the maxilla grows earlier (downward or forward) because it grows earlier than other bones face and jaw look slightly distorted and underdeveloped which it is

the mandible grows longer and then the other tissue comes in

also tons of other reasons why you won’t have a great jaw at 13

your maxilla slows a lot with growing at 16-18 you can call that the end of its growth

bones itself peak at early 20s to late 20s and the bone length stops at 16-18 too

If you havent had braces yet ask the dentist at your next visit for MARPE with Reverse Pull Headgear, Emphasize on headgear and say you can't breath through your nose well. Ortho will likely allow you to get on and rn since ur still growing its lowk the perfect time. OR you could just be prepubescent and it hasn't had time to develop.

If you’re only 13 you most likely are in the middle of or haven’t even started puberty. Don’t worry about it too much just mew 24/7 and have good habits and you’ll be fine
