It is generally believed that intelligence is largely determined by genetics and that it is difficult to significantly increase one's intelligence.

However, there are things that can be done to improve cognitive function and problem-solving skills, which can have the appearance of increased intelligence.

Some research suggests that certain activities, such as learning new skills, reading, and participating in mentally stimulating activities, may help to improve cognitive function and increase the ability to learn and retain new information. Additionally, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including getting enough sleep, exercising regularly, and eating a healthy diet, can also help to support cognitive function.

However, it is important to keep in mind that there is no one-size-fits-all solution and what works for one person may not work for another.

There are a variety of strategies that can help to increase intelligence. Here are a few examples:

Short-term methods:
  • Engage in activities that challenge your brain, such as puzzles, brain games, and riddles.
  • Practice mindfulness and focus on the present moment, as this can help to improve cognitive function.
  • Get enough sleep, as this is important for brain health and can help to improve learning and memory.
Mid-term methods:
  • Learn a new skill or take up a new hobby, as this can help to stimulate the brain and improve cognitive function.
  • Read regularly, as this can help to expand your knowledge and improve critical thinking skills.
  • Eat a healthy, well-balanced diet that is rich in fruits, vegetables, and other sources of nutrients that support brain health.
Long-term methods:
  • Engage in lifelong learning by pursuing education and training opportunities throughout your life.
  • Exercise regularly, as physical activity has been shown to have positive effects on cognitive function.
  • Cultivate a growth mindset, which involves a belief that intelligence can be developed and improved through effort and learning.
It is important to note that intelligence is not a fixed trait and that there is no single "quick fix" for increasing intelligence. Rather, it is a combination of various factors, including genetics, environment, and life experiences, that contribute to intelligence. By implementing a variety of strategies over time, it is possible to improve cognitive function and increase intelligence.

your intelligence is largely genetic, exercise and diet only help in maintaining the brain, not making your brain smarter.

all the nootropic shit is just bullshit cope, only real way to increase your intelligence is to have intelligent parents.

If you’re dumb you can’t do much about it

Nope, it’s all genes :feelswhy:

If you mean your ability to learn new things, that is something that is mostly determined by genetics. Not much you can do about if I am afraid.

But you can acquire skills and knowledge, which can make you appear a bit more intelligent to normies. So you should focus on that.

Fluid intelligence cannot be changed much after 16. Its your ability to understand patterns. The better you are at this the quicker you can do logic of any kind which is more important the more complex your job is.

Crystallized intelligence is more memory based. You can have shit memory and high IQ. But memory is something you can control and improve by learning and accumulating things. So try memory games and read about various things you want to remember.
