Can you leanmaxx while also building muscle?

Hello! 15 yo, 175cm(5ft 9), been gymcelling for a year. I started gaining muscle only recently bc I was cutting for 3/4 of the year. And after I stopped being in a deficit my abs yet again started to be covered by fat and my face became as fat as it was before. Can you give me any advice about my current situation and how to leanmaxx while not sacrificing gains? I can post a physique pic if you want.

if you're already past newbie gains, I dont think so, you're just maintaining what you have

well if u want to lean bulk , the bulk will take u longer but its definetly possible. u need to search up ur calorie maintenance for ur weight and height , then increase it by 200-250ish calories and obviously eat a shit ton of protein. i know 200 isnt a lot when most bulks require 500 calorie over ur maintenance but thats pretty much what it takes to "lean bulk" creatine will obviously leave u bloated so not much u can do about that sadly. on the other hand drinking 3-4L of water might help debloat u a bit but no guarantees since creatine will counter the debloating with more bloating :feelsrope:
 
honestly brotha it’s all about your diet. You need to be incorporating high protein meals within a leaner boundary. An example of this can ground chicken or ground turkey this is what i eat mostly so im biased but its truly a great protein source and easy on the stomach. You should be tracking your weight through the scale as well as through the mirror. Incorporate lean carbs as well at getting in potassium to flush out water and give u a leaner and drier look. I’ll attach a picture of myself for credential purposes but u got it bro i’ve been doing the same as u for a minute. It also comes down to genetics and your bodies ability to metabolize food because i eat shitty food sometimes and never gain a lick of fat. It’s truly a blessing and a curse depends upon your goals. Sorry for writing a paragraph lol but wanted to help.

Yea i know the stuff abt the diet and for the entirety of my gym career I have been reaching my protein but my question is should i just do deficit while trying to build muscle at the same time or should I have a cutting and bulking stage? And no prob abt the paragraph. Btw your physique is something a person can aspire to.

i appreciate it bro. It really depends upon what you want to do. I have seen guys who go into caloric deficits while keeping their protein relatively high with proportional carbs and still putting on lean muscle while flushing out the fat and excess weight. Cardio will help as well to burn calories if u r in a deficit. If u want to bulk / cut that’s what most bodybuilders do but it takes time and consistency. It’s really up to your genetics and metabolism at the end of the day, you know your body the best. If u have a hard time gaining muscle on a deficit while flushing fat maybe u should try bulking / cutting. My body has fast metabolism so i can get away with eating a ton while still being lean and gaining no fat.

Edit - Almost left this out, body fat % has a huge role in it as well which ties into your metabolism. Like i said, u know your body the best.
