I just need another 1cm of ramus to have normally long face

This is what I found in internet , I don't think that any surgeon really does exactly this ramus surgery

Lol the chin is what you need to lengthen to have a longer face, not ramus

I know it works with chin too , but the length that comes from ramus is much better tbh. Rn I have 7cm , with 8cm Ramus , I would Ramus mog almost all men. Chewing apparently doesn't lengthen the ramus

All that will do is make your face look more square bruh, it's not gonna add height which you need badly

What about the Masseter muscle attached there? Won't distraction fuck with it?

It's a slow distraction of 1mm per day , shouldn't stretch too mcuh

You can't get this unless deformed iirc

better to look at this or implants

I'm by no means deformed , but my lower third of the face looks not long enough to offset the wide and big upper 2 thirds

Beach contrast

If I get implants , I will do only for the chin , because full wraparound implants might make the jaw look uncanny. The round jaw is caused by higher bf% rn , low bf I have much more angular jaw

you don't need this, just have low ipd for wide face

68mm IPD but 0.43 ES ratio :feelswhy:
consider cheekbone reduction tbh
idk much abt it but looks like you have some assymetry that could get cleared up on the left side

Ramus implants then? We have to get this :feelswah:
And then there is the "inverted L osteotomy" , which also increases ramus height , but not by that much , because it's main goal is to increase the thickness of the ramus

I dont know if there is anyone who does DO for ramus but there is a bsso cut where the ramus can in theory be lengthened.

However I remember discussing those ramus located cuts with @Acromegaly_Chad and he said they're shitty. I guess it's simply impossible due to the fact a 1cm ramus downgraft would require a 1cm maxilla downgraft aswell otherwise you might have a good looking jaw but your bite would be completely fucked (1cm gap between lower and upper teeth :lul:)

Not sure about all of this tho but I am confident the other high IQ users you tagged can answer it more clearly

Yes the distraction you posted would mess up the whole occlusion and would require a consecutive bimax surgery. Would be beyond retarded to do.

Actually it's really easy to get your ramus lengthened, namely through a side wing/chin wing. My ramus got not just 1cm but 1.4cm longer thanks to that. The only risk you take is that you get masseter hypertrophy and eventual resorption of the bone, so you'd end up at the same length again after 10 years or so. This however can be prevented if you get implants in there. A vertical implant though can mess with your masseter tendons..

So basically you have 2 option with the first one being to get an implant and the second one to get side wing and depending on the amount of masseter hypertrophy a small implant to "protect" the bone from resorption.

If you get side wing go to Dr. Zarrinbal and ONLY to him.

I wanted a 1cm longer ramus , but don't want to get my gonial angle destroyed. I also read studies about chewing , which promises new bone formation , but it will take a long time

Dosent chin wing/side wing destroy gonial angle?

After that you can get the ramus distraction surgery , you will have normal bite
Wait,wait,wait,:ogre::ogre::feelsgood::feelsgood::feelsgood:
A lifefuel.

But has any1 done it or will i be the 1st lab rat?:feelsez:

Also does maxillary downgraft shift the upper set of teeth lower?
And does ramus DO shift lower set of teeth lower?

Hey, what if i get bimax+ramus DO?
Will it fix the occlusion plane and bite problem from ramus DO?

Yes you will be the first one cuz it's an obscure surgery. The combination of both surgeries will shift your both palates down

My bro who is legit chadlite copes with ramus height after getting genio frontally he looks fine, ramus only affects side profile jaw

Actually it might lead to hypertrophy.

Muscle hypertrophy is a common side effect after distraction osteogenesis on limb lengthening patients, the lengthened muscle gets bigger.

different morphs of you.

one has IPD changed, the others have cheekbone modification.
I also made your skull taller to keep ratios ideal.

What Im doing is measuring all my ratios, and measurements and comparing that to averages. Remember the more something deviates from averageness then the less appeal.

You remind me of hernan drago with his cheekbones but he has that taller skull to balance it

Thank you very much , the longer face with slimmer cheekbones definitely look better. Long face and wide face looks like some kind dirty fantasy of an .org user 😁
I think you have extremly good and ideal eye area, midface. its just the cheekbones by a large make your face wide af. You probably look better in selfies.

You can try covering the cheekbones with longer hair, wear hoodies etc.

he has too much forward growth without a tall skull. He needs more downward growth which can be done with bimax I think, alternatively genio would suffice too to make skull taller.

he can grow a beard too, it would take away from his cheekbones and make his skull look taller.
