I eat mostly dairy , meat and cheese and almost no carbs except right before my workout, i will eat a few rice cakes before my workout which is 40g total because i just cant lift with no carbs in my system i feel fatigued and have 0 energy . That is the only time i eat carbs then for my post i eat mainly ground beef and 1 potato

I eat mostly meat with some vegetables thrown in, but like you I simply cannot lift weights properly without carbs in my system.

40-50 grams before a workout ought to be enough. It could be from any source healthy or unhealthy, even sugar is ok since you will be depleting it within ~30 minutes of the workout.

Then on offdays, remove processed carbs.

I have tried lifting with nothing but meat in my system and I have at least 50% lower energy levels and am unable to push for single rep maximums ever, in fact my strength often decreases by about 10-20%.

There is no need to demonize fast carbs completely, they can be great workout fuel.

If you have low energy without carbs it means you aren't fat adapted.
