🤔

I mean it trains your brain and prepares you for counter moves of your opponent and your own counter moves.

But when you add elbows, knees and kicks, a Boxer will get mauled.

Boxing is good warm up for Muay Thai?

Front kicks to the chest and side kicks do different things.

You always got to anticipate what your opponent is going to do you know.

"If I do this, he will do that, and then I... and then he... So on and so forth".

Here's a nice move for you faggots.

Southpaw vs Orthodox

Southpaw moves to the right quickly and kicks behind his knees causing him to crouch and then the Southpaw finishes with left straight. Bam!

Boxing is 1,2,3,4 etc

Muay Thai is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8...

Muay Thai is more complex.

You need more muscle memory for Muay Thai because you are using all your limbs and joints.

In MMA boxing is probably more effective

You'd get mauled by a Kick Boxer or a Muay Thai guy.

Even Wrestlers get mauled by Kick Boxers like Conor McGregor.

Yeah Khabib got mauled by Connor

Khabib is too heavy, weight advantage. Conor should have learn Wrestling defence and then slip out and unleash stand up game on Khabib.

i did boxing for a while, now im doing muay thai

i fuck up my coach in sparring with punches despite hes higher level fighter than me. but he fucks me up with kicks etc

punching is like 80% of muay thai imo

so yea its worth it

Connor probably tried learning wrestling defense, but hes naturally bad at it

Do you study fights? Incorporating the counters of your opponents into your offense and defense? Taking as much as you can into consideration?
