Damn im really sorry about that bro. Don't despair, I'm sure insurance will cover bimax, if you get that and a genioplasty it should address a lot of issues

How come, I don't know much about surgerys
It would only bring his chin forward but the position of his lips, mandible, and maxilla would stay the same, when you have a big chin with small jaws it just makes you look like a witch

This, I don't want to be too brutal or rude to you and this comes from a place of empathy since I'm recessed as well, but you may as well have no life at this point, surgery really is your ticket to life

With your level of recession I'm almost certain insurance will cover a double jaw surgery. I would recommend a double jaw surgery with lots of movement, and a genioplasty (youll have to pay for that one probably) done during the same procedure to further advance the chin. If you get a big advancement that one surgery alone will save you. From there if you really wanted you could look into peek implants

You might be better off than the guys who just lack a few mm of bone bro. You're so recessed that you might be able to fraud sleep apnea so that your insurance pays for surgery. You actually need trimax to ascend, and hell, you might be able to chew and breathe better too then

Probably around 18 if possible, the sooner the better but you have to be finished growing. I would talk to an orthodontist asap so they can refer you to a maxillofacial surgeon to begin planning, the process takes a while. If the orthodontist says you dont need surgery or says they can fix it, insist that you need to correct the skeletal issue, DONT let them extract any teeth if they want to.

you definitely got health issues with that bro I think at this point you need to get some type of surgerey or orthopedia and health insurance will definitely pay cause its not only fucking up your looks but also your health

Oh man, thats brutal. Your orthodontist is bluepilled and ignorant, worst combo. Any ethical orthodontist would recognize that you need surgery to be honest. You have a skeletal deformity and if you aren't already experiencing issues with sleep apnea, chewing, breathing, etc then you probably will as you get older with this structure. I would tell your dad that this goes way beyond aesthetics, it's also important for your health .

You probably will have to wait until 18 to get another orthodontist then, which is fine. Whatever you do, just remember to never let any orthodontist extract any teeth, and also don't settle for small movements in your surgery, you still want an aesthetic result which will require large advancements

I put your photo in chatgpt and he told me this could be possible health issues:

🫁 Airway & Breathing Issues

🦷 Jaw & Dental Complications

🧠 Posture & Musculoskeletal Effects

  • Forward Head Posture & Neck Strain
To compensate for jaw misalignment, the cervical spine may tilt forward, causing tension, headaches, and neck pain .
  • Headaches & Facial Pain
Resulting from TMJ dysfunction, bruxism and airway strain.

🦠 Secondary Health & Quality-of-Life Concerns

maybe you experienced any of that idk but tell your dad and ortho this or get a new one

Also you look mediterranean to me if you are muslim maybe ask a imam before if its haram for your case because its fucking up your health clearly and the surgery would not only be for aesthetic reasons, but if you dont care or you are not even muslim then do what you want:lul:
