quite a lot. Tretinoin and other topical vitA are keratolytic* agents. Sebaceous filaments are cornified keratinocytes surrounding your hair follicles. (And yes, there's hair follicles on your face even though you may not see them)

Cleanser > Vit C > Moisturizer > Sunscreen

Night
Cleanser > Adapalene/Tret > Moisturizer

Tret is faster acting than adapalene, only difference. I did this consistently and got glass skin, I also wasn’t caring about my diet but I do eat healthy in general so that helped I guess. I currently don’t do this and my nose is back to strawberry status

Everything CeraVe but I there are honestly better brands like beauty of joseon and la Roche posay

I follow this exact same protocol (sunscreen and moisturizer are the same product, vit c serum also has niacinamide), and still have pretty bad sebaceous filaments. This might just be because I have naturally very oily skin, especially on my nose and forehead.

The appearance of my sebaceous filaments gets slightly better after salicylic acid as well as after scrubbing, but goes back to baseline within hours. I also don't do this too often because my nose feels burnt afterward and gets redder.

I've seen a video where they extract the clogged comedones with what appears to be a pair of very small tweezers, I want to try that out but don't know where to buy it.

Damn okay i honestly felt like it was my cleanser that was giving me my super smooth nose so I’m not sure, if you have very oily skin might have to just do something up another level like physical manipulation

oil cleanser works for me. Use oil cleanser before anything else and you can continue normal routine
