I was just wondering if it’s possible to have an appearance of a negative canthal tilt but in reality it’s just too much upper eyelid exposure. For example with my eyelids relaxed I look like I have a negative canthal tilt but if I raise them they look neutral. I’m not raising them in a way that moves the skin and fake it.

When there is more soft tissue on the outer side of the eyelid, the person can appear to have nct even if their actual tilt is positive, its called negative hooding. You can get a lateral upper blepharoplasty to fix this issue
