Canthoplasty for under eye support

Hey everyone,

I have a bit of scleral show, and my lower eyelids have a rounded look. I’ve seen some people say canthoplasty or canthopexy can help with eyelid positioning and provide more support/tightness to the lower lids, potentially improving that “sad” or tired look.

For those who have had either procedure or just know about it:

• Did it help with scleral show or eye shape in your case?
• Was there a big difference in outcome between canthopexy and canthoplasty?
• How important is the surgeon for doing this, is it fine as long as he’s certified?

I should be able to provide pictures of my eyes if that helps, I don’t really want to do anything too crazy like infras

Any advice on what surgery to get, lowkey might end up getting infras, I see these people with cantho with some botched results. Idk if I’m a good candidate the surgeon I saw just told me I’m too young
