Increases speed, mobility, and saves time. Eventually when I'm debt free, I'll aim to buy a car straight up for 3-5K. I agree with you tho, don't go into debt for a car (or anything). Biking to work is actually fun and helps leanmax

Simple cheap cars are great. Gives one option to go somewhere quickly out of town, for a trip, night time things, etc..
