im 17 rn in high school, im having a hard time deciding what i want to do in the future for a living.

Option 1: AI / Longevity / Biotech Entrepreneur or early employee at a top startup
Option 2: Quantitative Finance / Algorithmic Trading (prop firm or hedge fund)
Option 3: Software Engineer → Founder (AI, healthtech, or SaaS)
Option 4: Specialized Medicine + Entrepreneurship (longevity doctor + clinic founder)
Option 5: High-end Real Estate Development / Private Equity
Option 6: Law

I want to make good money to live a comfortable life, but at the same time I don't want to sacrifice my perfect lifestyle already (zero stress, good sleep, sun, training, nutrition) because it gives me massive advantages in discipline, focus, recovery, and long term cognitive performance. I want to pick a high upside, scalable career that rewards these traits.

My mom is a paralegal and she said it would be great for me to go into law so i can start a firm with her so we can both make a lot of money and i wont even have to work much.

i've also thought of starting my own business online like FaceIQ did.

idk what to do honestly. whatever profession i pick, i have to do it for the rest of my life

any advice?

I'm in med school right now and it's pretty good so far
I'm actually planning what you mentioned and it seems like a good alternative.
If you are a good doctor and surgeon, niggas will run to you by any means necessary.
Good luck nigga

I don't think you realize how difficult all these paths are. You casually throw around some of the most brutally competitive fields on the planet and then say you want good money but refuse to sacrifice your perfect zero stress lifestyle.

Just pick one and go all out and grind as hard as you can. I made out a thread for hiring of quant developer a week back and the kind of submissions I saw belew my mind. Same story in Al entrepreneurship and specialized medicine residency alone will torch your lifestyle. Private equity you can pretty much forget it unless you have elite billionaire connections.

You need to realize have intense and extreme amounts of competition in all these paths you choose. In each of these career path there is someone who is working 10x harder than you in every turn

The world doesn't reward balanced lifestyle or ambition. It rewards obsession.

so who lives stress free?
The guy who has large amounts of real estate or a business or sitting on a trust fund giving dividends every month. That or something in the entertainment industry or YouTuber/streamer etc

Law is by far the most realistic option here. A hard worker can get into a good law school and join a decent firm.

Hours and work is still heavy though. You just don’t necessarily need ridiculous connections, IQ, or unhealthy obsessions

so i guess i should be an influencer then? it feels like any profession i pick is slaving away my life. i always thought my 20s are for enjoying my youth but it feels like i have to wageslave just like everyone else

i dont have large amounts of real estate u need moeny for that in the first place. running your own business can be stressful too. for the entertainment industry u need to be good looking (im working on my appearance rn but still) and suck up to israel. i guess being an influencer would be fun but i kind of want to be unknown. my goal is to be rich but anonymous. no publicity
