it only stimulates and maintains hair growth while you're applying it. Once you stop, the new hair falls out after a few months because minoxidil doesn't permanently alter the follicle or fix the underlying cause of hair loss—it just keeps follicles in a growth phase artificially.

Yeah but thats only if you were bald or smth to start off, but in the case of eyebrows, if they're normal and you use minoxidil to grow them even more, they wont fall appsrt nah??

Even if your eyebrows were normal/thick to start with and you use minoxidil to grow them even more, the extra hairs you gained because of minoxidil will also fall out after you stop using it. Minoxidil works by pushing all follicles (including healthy ones) into the growth phase, so any "bonus" density you get is only maintained while you keep applying it. Once you stop, those new hairs shed just like in bald spots—they're not permanent unless you keep using minox. Your natural, original eyebrow baseline stays, but the extra fullness from minox disappears.
