You definitely look better with a beard, keep it quite short around 3-4mm. It helps give you're jaw a little more definition as its quite soft.

I dont know what MTM means but Overall my rating stays the same with or without the beard. Its just with the beard it helps convey a bit more angularity in you're lower third and overall increases your SMV.
