It's a Tissot, from the Gentleman Collection! And aren't I a right gentleman to be wearing it so fine?!!

This watch comes with Swiss Automatic Movement

Swiss automatic movement is one that utilizes the movement of the wearer’s wrist to provide energy to the mainspring, which slowly unwinds and transfers that energy to the gears and racks. Once the spring is fully released, it stops running. If the wearer wears the watches long enough, then the wearer doesn’t need to manually wind the watch.

I'm so bad and boujee guys!

Oh yeah, I remember you were talking about getting a new watch. It charges itself through the kinetic energy coming from you walking, yes?

Wrist movements.

I got my wife one from the same shop a couple months ago. Hers' has the same mechanism. She doesn't know I've got it though. It's wrapped up all professional like hidden in the shitty microwave that's sitting in my closet which came with our apartment. I'll give it to her on the 14th next month. That'll be our 7 year wedding anniversary. We've never given eachother gifts before on our anniversary so it will be a nice surprise. She'll have to take a right beating though afterwards, so she don't think I'm starting to be too nice.

I'll look it up. This is just a starter watch. Not a big jewelry guy but I do have a thing for watches.

I had a nice Bulova for a while in my 20's but gave it to a Tuk Tuk driver who practically saved my life in 2015. Dudes name was Lena. If I'm ever in Sihanoukeville again I'll track him down and slip a couple grand in his pocket when he's not looking. I would have starved if it wasn't for him.

I live in like the most racist WASPY town in the American Midwest. There's no blacks here. Only extremely well behaved Mexicans, and Orientals adopted as babies by rich white folk who can't have any of their own.

Great choice man. Gentleman is a slet on option. Most guys go for the Tissot PRX which looks good but is too generic. Gentleman is a class choice

Thsnks, it was a $1,007.
I could get a 1 : 1 rep for that price lol
and sell it as real on top of that
Only 0.8% of the people you interact with are even going to know that watch and girls dont really GAF

I have a omga speed master and some random watch with a leather strap that was less than $100
and the cheaper one got me more compliments lol

Caught my eye about a month ago and just couldn't go one more day without buying the thing. Usually I'm not like that.

Im a watch collector myself and for a lot of us. Watches aren't flex objects to impress anyone. We buy them for ourselves and they are all tied to memories. I buy watches to mark mile stones. I got my first watch Omega speedy when I graduated out of high school and Cartier Santos at the end of uni and wore it to my farewell party. When I look at the Speedy, I remember leaving home for the first time and feeling like the world was opening up. And I still wear my 200$ quartz beater watch that my dad bought for me that got me into watches in the first place. Every watch needs to earn its place.

I don't give a damn about compliments or if someone recognizes the make/brand. The watch is real, and I've been married for 7 years.

I like this watch and that's why I bought it.

Just a regular job. No more than 40 hours a week. It's more about simply not buying the usual bullshit that most other buy though. We rarely eat out if ever. The only thing we spend on monthly besides food is rent, utilities, internet and two SIM cards. Had for the cars and insurance we just pay every six months. We don't have subscriptions to Netflix or anything like that whatsoever. I don't play video video games either. And we don't celebrate dumb ass expensive holidays just because everyone else does it. Valentine's Day and Christmas. We'll get the kid something for Christmas, but we don't care about that shit ourselves.

Looking good! I can’t wear watches like that because I’m too hairy for it. The hairs just get stuck and it’s painful.

I got a little bit of hair there. But not enough to be painful to wear.

I miss living abroad period. We're leaving by March at the latest. Eastern Europe this time.

But yes, I miss Asia so much. The wet markets and chaos. The people are way more sufferable to white Americans in my opinion.
