Compared to normal-weight adults, overweight and obese persons have not only greater bone mineral density (BMD), but they lose bone at a slower pace, and may even have a reduced risk of fragility fractures [1, 2]. As regards the effect of childhood obesity on bone mass, findings are inconsistent [3–5].

bone mineral density has no effects on how the bone looks + projects btw

Bone density is bad for when youre young and strength is self explanatory they are fucking obese

Being fat as a kid correlates with many positive outcomes (if you manage to get rid of it).
Maybe due to all the bullying and the sportmaxing required to fix it, i know a couple cases.
