The only thing that truly matters is chin to philtrum ratio most of you already know this but just in case

Chin to philtrum ratio is measured by dividing the length from the middle of the lips to the end of the chin with the length from the bottom of the nose to the middle of the lips

Now what is the ideal chin to philtrum ratio?

Philtrum length is measured from bottom of the nose to the upper lip not to the middle of your lips

If your philtrum is around 1,5 cm long 2.25 is the ideal CTP ratio for you

If your philtrum is around 1 cm long the ideal CTP ratio for you is 2.5

If your philtrum is around 0.5 cm long or 2 cm long the ideal CTP ratios are...

Short chin makes it easy to have lower gonial angle i.e square jaw. If the midface is somewhat tall chin should also be tall for facial harmony but in that case it's almost impossible to have low gonial angle unless freakishly tall ramus
