I think taking out a Lower incisor would improve my chin projection, that or widening my upper palate. Let me explain

I never had braces or anything and my wisdom teeth haven’t come in yet. However my bottom teeth are slightly crowded and becouse they are close together my arch is moved forward in the front if that make sense

Opry has great chin projection right! Look at his bottom teeth, they angle back. So his jaw sits farther foreword. I would have like at LEAST 5mm chin/jaw projection of my teeth were like that instead they angle forward slightly

Lucky this technique should work at any age. Pretty well known that teeth can move significantly at any age.

Another way to achieve this is making the upper arch wider, this is good however I don’t know if it would re-position the teeth enough to make a big difference, with the extraction of 1 or even 2 incisors along with braces one might be able to move their jaw foreword significantly, unfortunately I think this might fuck up your tooth alignment but tbh that shit will be fine

Bone re-absorption is a problem with molars and wisdom teeth however because it’s a incisor it will do pretty much nothing and the bone re absorbsion is kind of the point, you want to make the front of your arch smaller

Might actually do this at some point, worst case I wasted my time and it’s not noticeable, and incisor won’t cause any major problems anyway my maxilla is not amazing but it’s decent tier, my chin projection is the major failio

Just looked it up and look at this fucking video this is real looksmax shit not some fake ass cold showers and ball tanning. You can see the arch move back and entire jaw therefore move forward. Also if your worried about the jaw joint that shit will remodel and it’s fine.

Might just rip one out tbh guess I do need braces tho to make it work properly. Still gotta do more research

I don't have over bite or anything should i get braces?

if your jaws are still growing then no if not then yes if your teeth are messed up
if your teeth are really messed up tho during growth probably fine
the issue is the braces will restrict proper growth of the pallate/jaw

never extract teeth needlessly. you need to create more space for your bottom teeth, you do that by expanding your palate through mewing or by surgical splitting the palatine suture with mse. a faster way would be 3 piece lefort with ccw rotation , impaction, and bsso to move the mandible forward.

My teeth are not missed my upper teeth looks fine but lower is the same as this video u post one teeth is back and the other are normal

Why not tho? And yes pallate expansion might work to some extent but to shorten the arch of the mandible this would be fine positioning the Jaw farther forward. Besides my maxilla is not narrow. Also this should only minimally effect the actuall mandible bone

Is this why I have a small overbite but I have good chin projection!

depends, send pic maybe. I’m not a orthodontist tho but orthodontists are Jew cucks anyway

Also depends how old you are

Copy and pasted this in ChatGPT:

The theory you're discussing—improving chin projection by extracting a lower incisor to allow the mandibular arch to retract—has some merit in specific cases but also significant risks. Here’s a breakdown:

The Biomechanics Behind It

Lower incisor extraction could allow the lower teeth to retract, potentially allowing the mandible to sit slightly more forward. However, this effect is usually minor and unpredictable.

Opry’s chin projection being influenced by tooth angulation makes sense—if lower incisors are angled backward, it can allow a more forward jaw posture.

Maxillary expansion could also help by improving tongue posture and allowing a more natural forward position of the mandible.

Potential Issues

1. Tooth alignment & function – Removing a lower incisor could create bite instability, midline shifts, and functional issues unless carefully planned.

2. Jaw joint adaptation – While the TMJ (temporomandibular joint) can remodel, forcing mandibular repositioning can lead to joint strain or TMD (temporomandibular disorder) symptoms.

3. Bone resorption – Even though incisor extraction leads to less bone loss than molar extraction, any tooth removal causes some degree of resorption.

Alternatives That Might Work Better

Controlled orthodontic retraction – Instead of extraction, braces or aligners can gently move the lower incisors back.

Maxillary expansion (MSE or palate expanders) – Widening the upper arch can create more room for proper jaw positioning.

Orthotropics/myofunctional therapy – Training tongue posture and chewing function can help encourage better jaw alignment over time.

Final Thoughts

Your reasoning isn’t entirely off-base—teeth position does influence jaw projection. But randomly extracting an incisor without a plan could cause more harm than good. If you’re serious about this, a functional orthodontist or dentofacial orthopedist would be the best resource for a proper assessment.

Agree, would have to do this in conjunction with a good orthodontist and get braces, tbf tho lots of people have teeth come out and it unlikely to totally fuck up your symmetry or something

It’s not allways a big problem a lot of attractive people have braces but it tends to put forces on the jaws and palates that aren’t good

If nothing was extracted then probably not a big deal

Orthodontists only worry about the teeth lining up, they will literally give people backwards bimax of their jaw to recess it more so their teeth will align, crazy stuff tbh.

Not to mention a common practice among orthodontists is to literally pull the maxilla back so it’s flatter to fix an overbite in childhood, regardless of the fact overbites tend to work themselves out later in development

JFL at normies trusting these people. John mew was mainly a whistleblower tbh. Showing us how fucked up this shit is and everyone goes along with it.

Today I seen a 10 year old kid with a recessed maxilla with a applience that is more recessing him :hnghn:
I ought to save him

I got no extractions btw nor wore elastics you are right it was probably my terrible posture tbh
