Although Chinese immigrants to the US and other Anglo countries from 1945-1965 were usually anti-communist pro-western on a geopolitical level, however they still were still conventionally masculine and had self-respect and were not willing to engage in self-depreciation or emasculation for white approval.
Post-1965 Asian immigration to the US consisted of psychological profiling that selected to most conformist, passive, emasculated, cowardly, and backstabbing Asians as the ones most willing to immigrate the US.
Most Asians I interact with in real life are unassimilated FOB's living in their own enclaves where mandarin is commonly spoken. However I do have Chinese-Canadian friends.
