### Don’t Get the Tickets Mixed Up!
In *Matthew 7:21-23*, Jesus warns that not everyone who calls Him “Lord” will enter Heaven, but only those who do the will of the Father. Many will claim they did good works in His name, but He will say, “I never knew you.” This is a reminder that salvation isn’t about our good deeds but about knowing Christ personally.
Pastor Jack Hyles used the example of two tickets from a museum visit to explain this truth. One ticket granted entry to the museum (salvation), and the other was for refreshments (good works and service). Many people confuse the second ticket for the first. They believe their good deeds (ticket #2) will get them into Heaven, but entry requires ticket #1—God’s righteousness, freely given through faith in Jesus.
Salvation isn’t earned by our own efforts but received by trusting Jesus as Savior. Even if you still struggle with sin, His grace is greater. Your place in Heaven is secured not by what you do but by what Christ has already done. Trust Him today—He offers unconditional salvation to all who believe!
