Chronic caffeine intake increases urinary sodium excretion without affecting plasma sodium concentration.

srep25746-f3.jpg

(a) 24-hour urinary volume was not significantly different after high salt (control) or high salt plus caffeine (caffeine) intervention (n = 5) (b) Chronic caffeine intake increased urinary sodium concentration (c) Chronic caffeine intake increase 24-hour total urinary sodium excretion (n = 5). (d) Plasma sodium concentration analysis showed no difference in control and caffeine group (n = 6). All data are presented as means ± SEM. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, compared with control.

Notice how the urinary volume does not increase, but the volume of sodium excreted does.

Try to limit all your caffeine intake to the AMs as to not mess with your sleep.

interesting... so much for caffeine being a diuretic??

so it debloats because it causes the body to excrete more sodium...?

i'm doing some research on plasma sodium

It doesn't "destroy", but it inhibits collagen production. Higher dose = higher level of inhibition. You shouldn't consume more than 300~mg caffeine a day.

Pretty much. It doesn't rid your body of excess water, but it lowers your sodium level by inhibiting the reabsorption of sodium in the kidneys, but this effect is generally not large enough to cause significant changes in plasma sodium levels, which are more tightly regulated by the kidneys... I think at extreme levels your kidneys (provided they function properly) would down or up-regulate your sodium excretion anyway to make sure you stay within a "healthy" range.
