i don’t give a fuck, and am not talking about longer ramus or all that shit. I am talking solely about masseter hypertrophy (yes if u have bad masseter insertions, you will look bloated).
i can't see any negatives to clenching, people who do combat sports and use mouthgards frequently clench and as a result have masseter hypertrophy.
as well as bruxism people, have large masseters.
im not talking about grinding. which bruxism people do, which involves moving the teeth on top of each other back and forth, causing them to wear down.
im talking about clenching, which is simply placing them on top of each other and biting down (no movement of jaw)
it wold activate the massater, and if done long enough would cause masseter hypertrophy
would have no cause of tmj since there is no jaw movement
and should be no bloat since there is 0 use of the buccinator when clenching, unlike when chewing
