Climate scientists have detected warning signs of the collapse of the Gulf Stream, one of the planet’s main potential tipping points.
The research found “an almost complete loss of stability over the last century” of the currents that researchers call the Atlantic meridional overturning circulation (AMOC). The currents are already at their slowest point in at least 1,600 years, but the new analysis shows they may be nearing a shutdown.
Such an event would have catastrophic consequences around the world, severely disrupting the rains that billions of people depend on for food in India, South America and West Africa; increasing storms and lowering temperatures in Europe; and pushing up the sea level off eastern North America. It would also further endanger the Amazon rainforest and Antarctic ice sheets.

covid is good for the climate tho it's slowed emissions and economic growth. Getting the vaccine = they open the the economy, air travel >>>>>> more emissions

Doesnt matter because after covid it gets back to normal again.

I see this as somewhat of a win?

Millions upon millions of subhumans will starve to death in 3rd world countries, thereby cleaning up the global gene pool significantly.

Lower temperatures in europe, as should be.

We will finally get some beaches up here in the northeast.

Only two bad things are the last two because we need trees to keep pumping out oxygen to be able to breath and if the artic ice sheets all melt, this will dramatically increase sea levels around the world, even in first world countries.

just be against scienctific consensus theory

The current scientific consensus is that:

Several studies of the consensus have been undertaken.[8] Among the most cited is a 2013 study of nearly 12,000 abstracts of peer-reviewed papers on climate science published since 1990, of which just over 4,000 papers expressed an opinion on the cause of recent global warming. Of these, 97% agree, explicitly or implicitly, that global warming is happening and is human-caused.[9][10] It is "extremely likely"[11] that this warming arises from "human activities, especially emissions of greenhouse gases"[11] in the atmosphere.[12] Natural change alone would have had a slight cooling effect rather than a warming effect.[13][14][15][16]

Cool story, but why is this relevant. If it gets hotter i buy an air-conditioning and the problem is solved. Big deal lmao.

More extreme weather sounds like fun.

Africa and India has too many ppl living there anyways. This will just bring back balance.

Let it happen

they will mass migrate to NA
