CO2 vs 1540 Laser

Does anyone have expierence with either and can share? My derma offered these two courses of action for scar reduction but I'm not sure which to do for price/performance.

I did a patch test for the c02 laser. It has been two weeks and the mark on me face still isn't fully gone. Because of this I am a bit afraid to try a full face treatment. I also want to do it for acne scar reduction.
