Cold turkey on dutasteride?

I'm using dutasteride during my test cycle at 0.5 mg a day, nothing crazy. I was wondering about when the cycle ends, do I just go cold turkey and stop taking it or slowly taper off near the end?

mainly just using it as a failsafe during my cycle so i don't lose all my hair. My family doesn't have a history of balding so I'm not sure if its really necessary after im done.

keep taking it until the test is out of your body (roughly 5 half lives) then you can just go cold turkey

better safe than sorry, that's what i would do too and i have very good hair genes

3.5mgs a week is way too much unless youre on grams of test. dht is very beneficial in normal amounts, the goal isnt to crush dht its to make it normal. also there is no cold turkey for dut the effects can linger for up to 6 months.

im on .25mgs dut 2x weekly. i get no dht sides and no hairloss. also saves a lot of money.
