The oneitis I mentioned in a previous thread (the one that friendzoned me) came into the study lounge to stay when I was around a few friends. She sparks up a convo with one of them and the subject eventually drifts to types in men (there was me, 2 other guys, and their girlfriends). For around 20 minutes straight she goes off on this rant on how men like Jacob Elordi, Dominik Szoboszlai (which is one of my favorite soccer players and she knows this), and other actors are so hot and naming all these different shows that they are in. The other girls weren't even all that receptive to this bc they were with their boyfriends, so they just politely nodded and smiled. Meanwhile, I was just in a deep a thousand yard stare at the wall while I listen to my old oneitis crush on all these guys that look nothing like me. Random acts of cruelty for zero reason are just a common occurrence when you don't meet the looks standards to be considered human. Officially in the top 4 of brutal experiences since coming to college.
