I was a fat kid in HS and always wanted to play but never could rly do itDepends on which school you go to, but I’m guessing you’ll probably need at least a year of high school soccer experience to even be considered.
I’m sure they do tryouts before each year, but you’ll have to really stand out since you didn’t play in high school.I was a fat kid in HS and always wanted to play but never could rly do it
Can being 6’5, fast and strong help in being a strikerI’m sure they do tryouts before each year, but you’ll have to really stand out since you didn’t play in high school.
Yeah your height will probably give you a boost in tryouts for sure. Can being 6’5, fast and strong help in being a striker
My technique is trash I’m just a poacher who knows how to abuse spaces between defenders and link up playcollege soccer is competitive bro, you basically already need to have played in competitive teams from age 10 onward
now if you're talking about intramurals/recreational league soccer in college, you don't need to be too good since anyone can join
you're tall and assuming you're strong/fast too, but you'll need exceptionally good technique, team play, good first touch etc. for that level
height isn't that important in soccer unless you want to be a goalkeeperCan being 6’5, fast and strong help in being a striker
IndeedD1 soccer is hard asf to get into ngl, if you're a senior you gotta have a season out of this world as well as play great for a travel team at the minimum.
