I want to order colored contacts online but have never been to an eye doc as my vision is fine and this means I don't have my eye measurements. How do I know if the contact will fit my eyes? I can measure the diameter myself ig but I don't think I can figure out my lens curvature lmao. I don't have time for an appointment coz I need them fast for an upcoming event but I also don't wanna pay just for the lens to possibly not fit or even damage my eyes. Do I risk it anyway? Has anyone here tried ordering contacts without knowing their exact curvature?

size of contacts don’t matter. they’re elastic

just order one without prescription

Tip: don't go for a really blue color because it'll look like you have bug eyes.

Best you can do is go up a few shades of brown, so therefore you need to get ones that are hazel/greenish to blend in with the brown of your inner eye.

From all colored contacts I've found think these look most natural and minimize bug eyes:
* Elite Amber
* Elite Shallow Diamond Amber Yellow
* Siesta Iris Khaki

You sure? Coz when I looked online I found this, and other articles citing similar stuff "Contact lenses are not one-size-fits-all. Having the right fit is essential for clear vision and long-term comfort and satisfaction with your lenses. The diameter and base curve are important factors in determining what the optimum fit is for you." (https://www.specsavers.co.uk/contact-lenses/contact-lens-base-curve-diameter-explained)
Maybe they're just overreacting?

I looked up the average base curve and apparently "Studies show that a single base curve of 8.4mm managed a “good or better” fit in approximately 90% of individuals, and base curves of 8.4mm and 8.6mm together encompassed 98% of individuals." so ig if I order lenses with one of these curves, there's a very high chance they'll fit me. I think i'll just risk it tbh

Thank you. I actually have hazel eyes, they just have a bit too much of a brown tint. They look amazing in good lighting but meh in worse lighting. I've been thinking of just getting lenses with a slightly lighter shade/more prevalent green tone so they won't look obviously fake

From my understanding the curvature of almost everyone's eyes is the same. 8.6 base curve
