I came across Colostrum which google defines as a nutrient-rich fluid that is produced by mammals, including humans, in the first few days after giving birth. It contains high concentrations of antibodies, growth factors, and other nutrients that are important for the health and development of newborn mammals.
It has been shown to increase igf-1 levels significantly , and im just wondering has anybody ever tried it ? It comes as a supplement , and would it be effective as a height increasing tool (during puberty ofc)

Is there a study on this?

Interesting.

Yes
IGF-I is a major form in bovine colostrum and is biologically more potent than IGF-II (13). The concentration of IGF-I in bovine colostrum is 200–2,000 μg/l (36), whereas normal milk contains <10 μg/l (9). In normal adult humans, IGF-I occurs at a concentration of ∼200 μg/l in serum (19). IGF-I has a strong anabolic effect on muscle tissue (25, 37), and it is associated with regulatory feedback of growth hormone (25, 34). IGF-I can mimic most, but probably not all, effects of growth hormone (10). The effects of growth hormone on skeletal muscle are thought to be mediated by IGF-I (21).

Woah. Can the body absord this thru supplement form?

where do I get it

Oral bovine colostrum supplementation does not increase circulating insulin-like growth factor-1 concentration in healthy adults: results from short- and long-term administration studies

Results: Baseline IGF1 levels 130 ± 36 ng/ml. 4.5 h protocol showed no effect of colostrum on plasma IGF1 (ANOVA, treatment group: p = 0.400, group × time: p = 0.498, time p = 0.602). Similarly, no effect of colostrum ingestion was seen following 4 week (ANOVA, group: p = 0.584, group × time interaction: p = 0.083, time p = 0.243) or 12 week (ANOVA, group: p = 0.400, group × time interaction: p = 0.498, time p = 0.602) protocol.

Conclusions: Ingestion of standard recommended doses of colostrum does not increase IGF-1 levels in healthy adults, providing additional support for the safety profile of colostrum ingestion.

We're not talking about adults though
