Coming up to 2 weeks of nofap - my experiences

Deleted all social media apps to prevent triggers. Had some strong urges but I fought them off.

What did I notice?

- more productively, don’t have to convince myself to do work as much.

- Mexican rapist at the border tier sex drive, literally could fuck a 5/ 10 milf at the gym if she smiles at me.

- less social anxiety, used to always think about what other people think of me even during regular activities such as going to the shops for food, I care slightly less now

- care about my looks more, maintaining my beard, got an actual skin care routine etc


If I never make another nofap update it’s because I’ve either relapsed or I’m in jail due to my uncontrollable sex drive.

I think nofap might be legit, plus you’re meant to go months without fapping to notice actual changes
 
I feel better, idk if it’s placebo or not I feel better, call it cope
I've done many nofap streaks, longest around 120 days. It was just a placebo.

Half placebo i would say. You do get a testerone increase for 7 days and you also feel better cuz you deleted social media and actually did shit. You didnt fry your dopamine receptors

its all about dopamine

if u fap mindlessly it obviously isnt good

but if u fap as a reward for working towards your goals as a reward then its a good tool to motivate u

i set aside a day out of the month to coom all day and drink all the alcohol i want to whle i work the rest of the month :) that way im driven

I’m not treating it as a silver bullet, plus I don’t think I’ve ever felt good after fapping personally

The end goal is to do nofap for life and only get actual pleasure via sex

You need a big goal and in that big goal you will need to have small goals that give you rewards so you stay hooked. This is the ideal way, but the question is, what are these rewards? Discipline allows you to control when the reward is easily accesible. So improve willpower and you will find the key to succes

Do you think you could truly cut out short term pleasures such as alcohol/ drugs

Yes i have, but i dont really have a lot of experience with them to begin with so that was easy. You need to convince your own brain the reason why you need to cut thag shit. After all the subconcious ego knows you the best and will trick you if you are unaware

testosterone increase on the 7th day then goes back to normal

It's mostly placebo...but don't understand the power of placebos. Nofap makes a difference in life
