People are really bad at communication. Trying to Express what they really mean. Due to social rules. Linguistics gives the psychology of language and the semantics of what people mean.

If people start noticing patterns, for example not one girl has used the phrase "i would let him raw dog me" but multiple girls have.

Red pill and black pill are developed idealogies because multiple people agreed on patterns others have experienced.

Phrases are the same, and if you learn the semantic meaning of phrases you can figure out exactly why the person even said it.
