On the before picture he suffered from short face syndrome(his maxilla wasnt downward enough) it was fixed by lowering the maxilla but isnt that a downward maxilla abad thing? You can clearly

Short chin,Recessed jaw,microdontia,Puffy cheeks squashed lips.Short face syndrome is probably .the crappiest gift genetics can handle you.

You’re right but those are examples of sfs not compact midface
Last guy’s midface length didn’t change at all just the perception of it due to increased chin height
