If not a LARP then impressive. I'm primarily invested in python, powershell and bash scripting. I wanna become a hacker without any irony. Bleepingcomputer articles of new groups attacking via a different vector every time inspire me so much. Have you had any surgeries yet? If so, what? What PSL are you? Are you really a nigger?

JavaScript is the most important for beginnings looking to be a junior

You mentioned you do java spring. Do you have any high quality educational resources?

What are the biggest differences between personal projects you do on your own vs working at a company?

Do you have any tips on how to get promoted from junior to mid level engineer as fast as possible?

I really really could do with some advice from you my brother

I have a bachelor of science however not many coding units. I am considering dropping out of medicine currently because I don't want to be a doctor that badly and kind of just want a chill lifestyle.

Is software dev achievable for me after a bootcamp/ self-teach for 1 year?
How easy is it to WFH?
What kinds of salaries do middle-of-the-pack devs make 5-10 years into working?
How easy is it to find a "bludge" job where you don't have to try very hard / not stressful at all?

If you want to become without degree, what languages to learn? What seperates senior from junior developors? Algorithim building or what?

what are the expectations from a junior front end dev?

Are side projects and competitive coding on leetcode really necessary?

The same stuff you usually learn. Web stack js css HTML and then a data base and server side like php/Python. Then sql or mongo
what are the expectations from a junior front end dev?
high level proficiency in JavaScript and css and a few frameworks ( bootstrap, react, etc)

depends on location but I’d say for most people 1 year is roughly doable but you want to be good if you don’t have that degree. What is wfh?

The salaries here in the USA start around 70k for the lowest and Can easily go up to 400k by the end of someone’s career

Most easy jobs require experience or a lot of skill. The lower you are the harder you have to work

Company is easier ofc you have managers and supervisors and tons of documentation and manual

Most resources you need to get your foot in the door are available on YouTube or Udemy course

Do good work and let people know

Web dev is saturated, competing with a billion pajeets. Talking about just getting into it, obviously if you are senior level then you are good. What do you know/think about devops/cloud architects?

companies in 99% of cases prefer to higher locally. only senior high level pajeets can get jobs out of india

What would you recommend i try? i have a degree in an irrelevant field and want to get into tech. Was thinking maybe do certs and then help desk > cloud architect > dev ops?, was thinking cloud engineering is better than the usual code monkey jobs but no degree might be difficult. UK btw, not india.

Web stack and then learn either a JavaScript framework, Python for web or Java spring.

Thanks for the response I really appreciate it

Let's say I seriously apply myself for the first 5 years of working and hence acquire a lot of skills. Currently I'm in medicine and going to do that anyway but in the medical field (interns/junior docs work insane hours), so I'm thinking that effort could be better expended in software eng. After 5 years would I be able to take a fairly chill work from home (that's what WFH stands for) job? and what salary approx.

How many times a year do you shower?

Are side projects and competitive coding on leetcode really necessary?
Projects looks good on resumes, leetcode nope. I did a project involving machine learning and a mini project involving cloud computing in my 3rd year and now doing a internship in a MANG company.
