The most important thing is the format. The first one I bought was gel 0,025% and burned/left my skin like a snake pretty hard. I then bought a cream one at 0,05% (i didnt see it wasnt gel) and it doesnt burn as much, even at a higher concentration.

Gel -> more oily skin (but dries u pretty hard)
Cream -> more dry skin (isnt so agressive and doesnt dry as much)
