right now it's 100,000 and doubles every 2 days, so we will hit one million in about a week

this also means the real number of infected will be around 10 million

will we see the dow drop below 15k?

So the premise of your question is that you are better at math then all the $300,000+/year market analysts

100 to 1,000 - one week
1,000 to 10,000 - one week
10,000 to 100,000 - one week

i didn't even have to put any effort into my guess

Even if that where the case they won't be able to test that many people in that amount of time. So no, the confirmed cases will not hit 1 mil that fast no matter how many people actually get it.

that may be the case, but wall street will no doubt be able to extrapolate the numbers like i did

beyond this point we'll just have to work with extrapolated data

1 million "confirmed" / 10 million suspected is almost a certainty at this point

question is, will we hit 100 million suspected in two weeks? if we do, the shutdown becomes pointless, everyone should be assumed to have been infected, and we can all go back to work

Comprehension fail.
My point was the analysts have already baked all this into their analysis.

PSL has always been ahead of everyone, including doctors and scientists and analysts

the market never goes up or down linearly

what you witnessed this week was not a bottom or recovery, merely a reaction to a massive $2 trillion stimulus, and it's already fizzled out as you can see today

i think the market will test new lows next week when analysts discover this thread
