i won't ever understand why people get "spiritual breakthroughs" through the use of psychedelics. you're just messing with your brain chemistry in order to get intense hallucinations, that's literally all it is. nothing spiritual about it, it's all brain generated. why can't people who take psychedelics take it as just a way to have fun and intense experience and leave it at that, without making it a matter of "muh spirituality" ?
