as many doctors believe
if so why do facial implants tend to erode the bone?

what do you mean by vibration?what causes growth is pressure and vibration, they cause osteoblastic activity to increase. implants just flat out erode the bone by scratching layer by layer off, there is no extra external pressure to which the bone reacts
what do you mean by vibration?
also i didnt quite get the part about the implant scratching the layers.. do you minimise erosion by stabilizing the implant so it doesnt move?
so movement of the implant is what erodes the bone? lets say the implant is fixed, isnt force applied to the bone that would cause it to grow , at worst not get absorpted?
implant aside, lets say we hypothetically had a way to apply external constant pressure to facial bones through the day (not bonesmashing), then would that stimulate bone growth or atleast help in preventing bone absorption due to aging?
it just fucks my mind how doctors plain attribute part of facial bone erosion to lack of pressure forced in it and we cant do anything about it
coolYes constant pressure on bones has been shown in numerous studies to grow bones. If you dont believe the science check out roger federer, in an ultrasound you can see the bone on the arm he plays tennis with being much thicker than the other one and this is only indirect stimulation. And no, an implant does not cause any extra pressure, its not pressed against your face and does not vibrate so....
well idkHow are you supposed to apply constant pressure to the face . I thought bonesmashing was a meme.
in theory yes definitely. but strokes to the head are bad for the brain, you never know if the growth will be even...cool
i dont have much "hard" knowledg but do you think bonesmashing works
like in the sense that it helps preserve the bone if not grow it
or is it just chronic pressure that does the work
So putting pressure on my maxilla is gonna shift it or just create more bone?in theory yes definitely. but strokes to the head are bad for the brain, you never know if the growth will be even...
both according to wolffs law and osteoblastsSo putting pressure on my maxilla is gonna shift it or just create more bone?
3k posts and such low effort low iq answerboth according to wolffs law and osteoblasts

Vibrate your tongue theory?what causes growth is pressure and vibration
Would be sick jflVibrate your tongue theory?
