Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing, and their sight is covered. They will suffer a tremendous punishment. (2:7)

im sure we can guess the contradiction since allah is supreme we can assume that he IS the most merciful. Yet hes punishing non believers ? (2:7 is referring to non believers) why is he punishing non believers for the crimes of non belief. so long as they serve allah by being ''good'' why do they need punishment, isnt he ''the most merciful'' ?

he is the MOST merciful, not the ALL merciful, sinners and evildoers still have to be punished because God is just

the meaning of the verse is that God's plan is superior to the plans of mere humans
