That's true but I feel like humans, at their most natural state, are delusional in some regard

I mean the very premise of being a normie requires you to delude yourself of the truth and people who distract themselves from reality are arguably just as delusional since they are willingly avoiding it.

But even then I'd argue reality is not something you confront, it's something you acknowledge and learn to live with. We are inherently programmed to deal with it, else the human species would have gone extinct a while ago.
