skeletal malocclusion. i had braces but the result wasnt good because of the underlying skeleton, so my ortho said i should get jaw surgery to fix it. in my country insurance covers if you have a bad enough malocclusion, but since i had no pain and wasnt blackpilled back then, i decided against it
