Could drinking gelatin before alcohol minimize its damage

I heard taking 500 mg nac before and 700 mg milk thistle before and after can help protecy your liver and kidneys what about gelatin to coat your insides?

It might absorb slower, so you'll get drunk less...Drinking every day usually makes your body pretty resilient to the nasty side effects of alcohol...:feelshehe:

Food lowers alcohol absorption, you need more alcohol to get drunk on a full stomach. Fatty foods are notorious for raising your drinking limit, I've read somewhere how Russians can drink a whole bottle of vodka in one night and still be functional the next day, if they have first a huge feast with pork steak, mayo salad and other special heavy dishes...
Drinking on an empty stomach gets you drunk fast and harder, mixing alcohol with carbonated or caffeinated drinks also gets your drunk quicker and stronger, both carbon dioxide and caffeine increase alcohol absorption. Cocktails like vodka and coke, whiskey and Red Bull are famous for their strong effects.
