theoretically it could yeah because the skin gets stretched if you move the maxilla forward, but you can't be sure.

difficult question, I've seen results where they've significantly improved post bi-max & others where they've somehow gotten worse.

The former usually happens when someone has some maxillary recession, whether it be both jaws recessed or the upper jaw in isolation.

I can't explain the latter other than it being the result or swelling, honestly confuses me.

Also, you're right that loss of fatty tissue is a big contributor

Nasolabial folds are a masculine trait. Most people don't even notice them or if they do they don't see it as a negative.

But to answer your question, I believe that LeFort I can reduce the appearance of nasolabial folds if they are caused by recessed maxilla not soft tissue.
